Why when I boot my computer the display doesn't show an image?

Turning on the computer with the lid open screen shows no image but the computer on,

I have to close and open the lid and then displays image.

I recently replaced the screen. Can be the lid sensor or magnet?

Update (01/18/2016)

Replaced the complete assembly

The strange thing is that when I see the desktop, I can open and close the lid responds correctly.

It's only when starting the computer.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

How did you replace the display? Did you replace the complete lid assembly?

Why did you replace the display and did it work afterwords? Does it work with an external monitor?

Lets start off by making sure the SMC services are not messed up. Follow this Apple T/N: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac

If that did't fix things get your self a small magnet and paperclip that sticks to the magnet. Now carefully slide the paperclip along the face of the display along the sides and top edge you should be able to locate the hidden magnet in the lid that sets off the sleep mode switch in the body.

Now place the magnet across the way where you located the magnet in the lid when the screen is showing. Basically we are putting the system into sleep mode. Did the display go out and did the sleep LED go on?
