Replacing touch screen digitizer

Alcatel One Touch boost view 5

Is it possible for me to replace my cracked alcatel onetouch boost view 5 touch screen with an alcatel idol s2 digitizer? Because i cant find the original digitizer online for some reason..my screen display is fine, just the cracked screen that selects apps, numbers, letters etc, that i dont press..

I'm Matt. I'm in the middle of the same job and the correct model seems to be the Alcatel One Touch Pop C7 7040A, although a 7040 or 7040D will do. Not finished but they certainly look the same, hope this helps.
