Alternatives to a microwave?

I'm considering buying an iopener for my repairs but I don't have a microwave and I don't want to buy one just for this.

I was wondering if there are any alternatives to using a microwave? I've heard putting it in boiling water but I suppose that would depend on the material of the iopener.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Or perhaps a sensible alternative to the iopener?

If I used a heatgun are there any precautions to take? Could I melt the plastic casing or other parts of iPhone?

Or perhaps a sensible alternative to the iOpener? - see here - heating pad as alternative - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIrmxkX8...

I’d have bought a heating pad right away when I stumbled on that video but he said 15-20 minutes to heat up and I don’t have that kind of time to spend on every repair.

consider a heat gun instead. i use a heatgun (carefully) to do most of the tasks an iopener is used for. i don't have an iopener, so i'm not sure if they're waterproof or not.
