My screen is not showing even though the laptop is on.

When I put on my laptop, the screen remains blank even though you could see that the laptop is on. What may be the problem and possible solution? Thanks.

This is an very old laptop, may be the display connector is not correctly plug on the motherboard.

Do you test with an external monitor to see if your laptop send video signal to this one ?
