Is it really broken?

My Nintendo ds was accidentally dropped 2 times and now it wont turn on at all. I tried charging it but after a few minutes it stops charging. My boyfriend says the bottom LCD screen looks busted too. Is it really broken?? Can it be fixed or should I just get a new one?

Well... It can be fixed...however.. It would be easiest just to get a new one.. Not sure how experienced you are in repairs
