Need assistance diagnosing TV

I just picked up a new to me Samsung UN46D6050TF and when I use ANY of my 4 HDMI I get random lines bouncing all over my screen.

They are Horizontal lines, which I've come to understand is usually th LCD panel, and therefore mostly scrap.

But when I switch to my rabbit ear antenna the picture is Crystal clear. if it were the LCD it would still be there right?

I have a picture of the lines, just not sure how to post it here from my phone.

I'm wondering if it is the MB.

I reset the picture. But not the TV. I followed your link, but my "Reset" selection under self diagnosis is magically missing.

Hi,

Did you scroll further down and notice the section on how to reset for older models and see if it works?

Just reset it now, had to hold the exit button for 10 seconds.

That seems to have solved the issue for now! I suppose I'll go through and do each setting one at a time. Find out which one was causing my problem!

Thank you very much for your help sir!

Scratch that, it's back. It was a nice 10 minutes though....

Hi,

Have you tried to 'reset' the TV? You never know and it doesn't take much time. Here's a link. http://www.samsung.com/au/support/skp/fa...

I had an LG TV that was doing the same issue, and it was still under extended warranty when I called the repair guy out he replaced the motherboard and that fixed the issue.
