how to i recover or reset
the password on my samsung galaxy j1.

On Samsung devices if you hold the power button. volume up, and home button until the phone vibrates. After it vibrates release the power button, a recovery screen should pop up after the Samsung logo. There will be a option to factory reset, selecting this option will wipe the password off of your phone but it will erase everything else as well. I dont know if this applies to this specific device, but it generally works with Samsung phones.

When i press the on botton it doesn't has the factory rest botton
Ya there is no reset botton
yes there is no factory reset
It still does,not work when I finish doing that it comes on and it marks welcome when I press the arrow I put my email then the still want a password
Tina, it needs your Google account password. If you don't know it, you need to follow the instructions to reset the password.

My phone was lost and then found but someone factory reset it and tried to I guess put there's in now I tried to put my Google account email in and it keeps asking for the previous one and it won't lit me go any further can't get apps nothing

my phone have problem so i decided to restart my phone then after restarting the samsung logo comes out then it need to log in on google account so i logged in, i enter my email then my password but the problem now is, it cannot be logged in because i forgot my password so can u help me on my problem?? i hope so.. samsung j1 mini is the model of my phone.. thank you

my phone got stolen twice this month by the same girl but this time I had to factory reset it and now it says downloading and its been like that for a hour now...what do I do ? just sit and wait or?
