How can I fix running lights on my dirt bike
I'm wanting to put running lights on my 2001 Honda XR 70R dirt bike

@whitmire6988 most motocross bikes don’t have batteries so you will have to come right of the stators regulator-rectifier. The stator on dirt bikes is only powerful enough to supply the ignition system and that is why it is important to know what make and model your bike is. It'll help to identify which parts your bike has and if there is a chance to tap into something like a constant 5 or 6 V circuit which would allow you to add some LED headlight etc.

It is for my son it is a 2001 Honda XR 70R
James, your son's bike will require a stator rework since it does not have enough "oomph" to power headlights. You may want to check Baja Designs, they do the rework and have the right kit for it.
