1 2g iPhone battery was replaced now boot screens tuns on and off.
Replaced the battery in my 2g now the screen boots then shuts off why?

I have the same problem here,
I read a lot for the solution, some of them said that we need to replace the battery or clean up the charging port from debris.

I'd agree with nio. common mistake when replacing a battery is poor soldering/contacts. resolder the battery contacts and see what happens. Iphone reboots as there isn't enough power from battery to launch. Plugging in to itunes may give a restore error 21.
