Time set to incorrect time zone

When I set my time to update automatically, it switches to the incorrect time zone and incorrect time. I know the tablet knows where I am due to GPS. How do I correct this? Is there a downloadable fix?

Hi,

What version of Android is your tab running? Tap APPS > Settings > About

tablet to check the OS version (Kernel/build number) and other hardware and software information. From checking around on 'google' apparently Android 5 Lollipop has 'time zone' problems for some devices. You could try setting your time zone manually and see if that 'resets' it.
