display with strange spotting inside

Hello,

I'm writing from Italy. I have a problem with the screen of the iMac 27 "5k retina late 2014, purchased the 12-22-2014, I do not know if the warranty covers this type of defect within two years.

There are spots in the lower left, appear as sagging, I think it's the dust, but I assure you that the environment is clean with no smoke or whatever. Obviously the spots are inside, how can I fix it, other news of these spots? I have to completely change the display or can separate the glass from the monitor LED?

Many thanks

Enzo

these are the best pictures I could do ....

how to see the affected area is the bottom left corner of the screen,

an area of approximately 3 inches

they are strange spots and difficult to explain, they seem like the sagging.

I hope that the assistance apple does not do me any problems, and that the guarantee is valid for two years, I have heard strange stories about ....

Update (02/06/2016)

Hello everyone, yesterday I withdrew my imac from assistance.

Only three days to completely change the display panel, thanks to the European card consumer warranty.

I have not paid anything, new imac and I happy.

Thank you, I hope that my experience will be useful.

Hello Dan and New Year's greetings to all ...

Happy that the "beautiful country" there is left in the heart.

Here! Now I found the menu at the top right, "options" and then "edit" ...

some orthodox thing :-)

Wow that is very odd! If I didn't know better I would think it was Mold or Mildew growing inside.

It's clearly on Apple! Did you visit them yet?

Ciao! Enzo, Did you get a chance to visit the Apple Store yet?

Ciao! Enzo,

Sadly you'll need to bring your system into an Apple Store as you do need a replacement display assembly which is covered under warranty.

Don't try to clean this your self as the cover glass and the LCD are fused together and can't be separated. Besides taking the display off alone here is a big job and you need to be very careful as you can easily damage it just in the process of taking it off.

What part of Italy are located? I'm planning on retiring their in a few years.

Hello, thank you for your response, I imagined that it was not a small job.

My only question is whether this defect is detected after a year and a few days of purchase, we will see .... now we are in holiday season and will be difficult for me to follow.

We live in Treviso, but I am originally from Naples and my wife is Balkan, our son ... boh ... :-) world citizen

I'm thinking about the Luca or lake Como areas

As to the screen Apple had a bad run so I won't worry here.

relax the problems of life are somthing others....

Italy is beautiful whole, governments are bad, but ..... if you live as a tourist ...

I hope that the display is within the warranty of two years...

how can I post photos of the display here on the forum? I did not find any command

It makes no difference which country you're in, all governments have there issues. The bigger question is there enough openness so the common folks don't get screwed! I've been lucky, I've had a chance to see a lot of the world. I've found most people very generous and friendly. I fell in love with Italy years ago visiting Florance and Milan. I even took my mother for a tour on her 65th birthday as a surprise. We went throughout Tuscany and Umbra with a small group. She later told me it was her best trip she had been on.
