LCD GREEN INSTEAD BLACK Colors (Apple Extension Warranty Plan)

I Had problems with my MAC ..

I changed twice the motherboard in warranty extension

Now after the third replacement in warranty of the motherboard the colors on my lcd "black" become "green"

The shop said to me that i have to replace my lcd and not in warranty.

650 euro total .. .. no sense to invest those money

i think is the cable.

Can someone help me to solve this ? .. Because i believe happle has to fix it in extension even if is not only the cable ..but the all lcd.

To isolate out if the issue is the internal display try connecting the system to an external display does the greenish hue still present? If it is you've proved the issue is still within the logic board (GPU).

Let say the external display looks OK, I would pop off the bottom cover and with the system off try reseating the display cable. Just be careful here as it can be damaged quite easily. In fact given how much effort has been put into this system it's possible the connector (cable and/or connector) is worn out.

Review this IFIXIT guide: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Late 2011 Display Replacement follow the guide upto Step 4, then jump down to Step 13. Take a good close up of the pins of both sides and post them here so we can review the connectors if they are damaged.
