My Xperia Play cannot boot up

I have xperia play but fail to boot. this occurs after opening the cover, but not on the cover display .. I opened cover is very carefully .. than I reinstall the cover and cannot even boot as before .. but the lights on the power button blinks when I plug it into the charger
