I've got some screens that were brand new and worked but suddenly stopped working and just have no image but backlight is on.
Does anybody have any ideas why or how to fix them?

Check connection is secure, the flex connectors can bend and prevent a full connection
Overuse / testing of screens renders them useless, I fell a screen has about 5-10 connections in it before it starts flickering, lines, unresponsive e.t.c.
It could be the phone, tried another phone?
Wash connectors and heat with heat gun, connectors can take a lot of heat so don't be shy
Throw in bin if above doesn't work.

How will a heat gun help? Iphone boards are more sensitive so you Must be shy and use shielding kapton tape.
Another Lcd works fine on the phone. This is some of the worst advice I've ever received, throw in the bin if heating the connectorddoesn't work? Thanks.

If I put pressure on the top half of the connector it works but when I let go it fades away
