How do I repair the fabric around a zippered pocket?

My patagonia jacket has been worn through right in the fabric right next to the zipper. This is my pocket's zipper and the area does get quite a lot of use - so much that the fabric right next to the zipper has gone from threadbare to no-thread!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Try adding some new fabric to the areas around it both inside and out. You could also take different colors of fabric and make it different and new by sewing on some different colors of fabric in a cool pattern I hope this helped
