How much is to fix screen
screen is cracked and when i turn it on I get what looks like a bunch of colored lines that completely obscure all of the display

This would probably be a screen digitizer and LCD replacement . If your going to do it yourself This video will help.

Be very careful not to over heat the display. you should be able to handle it at all times . if you cant its too hot
