Ipad mini A1432 overheat with dim screen

My Ipad Mini A1432 got heat up which I can feel from the back of home button. The screen also look darker or dimmer. I already backed up with itune without problem. But how can I fix it or is it from any part which need to replace or repair? By the way, it is 3 years already without apple warranty. Please help.

Here is pictures from screen shot which look normal and I also took two pictures to show it is darker than normal for comparison.

But how to solve this problem.

1. change the lcd screen

2. or is it from loosing connector

3. or change battery

any comment? please help.

Probably just drawing too much power, because the backlight is going out
