How do I replace my DVD Drive
The DVD drive has been physically damaged. The rest of the laptop seems fine, but the drive will no longer read disks. How do I go about replacing the drive?

Replacing the DVD drive is fairly easy and only requires simple tools. Make sure however, it is only the drive that is damaged. If it is, see if you can smoothly remove and reinsert it using this guide. If there is no obstruction, go ahead and order a DVD drive of the same model from the manufacturer to replace it with.
