Lock/sleep button does not work after screen replacement

Hey all I changed an iPad Air 2 screen and it seems the lock/sleep button does not work BUT it works to power it off and on.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

did you move that soldered piece located left of the home bottom. That is the wake sleep sensor. If you didn't that is your problem.

Thank You !!! this is exacly the fix. There is a small piece to the left of the home button, covered in black tape. Remove the tape, desolder the 4 contacts and re-solder the part to the back of the new LCD/digitizer assembly.
