Camera shaking after repair

I replaced the LCD assembly on a 1520 that had a crack in the the digitizer. after returning it to the customer, he noticed that his camera could not focus very well and it would skip like a horror movie camera. I haven't been able to isolate the issue yet. I believe it's hardware based since we did a factory reset on it. any ideas for further troubleshooting?
