A jack-in-the-box is a children's toy that outwardly consists of a box with a crank. When the crank is turned, it plays a melody, often "Pop Goes the Weasel". At the end of the tune there is a "surprise", the lid pops open and a figure, usually a clown or jester, pops out of the box.

Plastic Hook Piece Broke

Can you buy a plastic hook piece that keeps the lid down so that when the handle is cranked and song ends the toy will be able to pop!? Our hook broke

oh oh i don't think so ,,,, try to make you'r own or cut one (i don't think you have 3d printer (me either :( )

gluing plastic is $@$*!& and really really hard becouse it's PP or PE or teflon and there are really few glues that do glue there materials

or try to make something out of metal
