Is it just showing F or is it alternating with something else e.g. a number? Was just reading online how an error code of F 06 was coming in two parts, first the F , then the 06 and it was being mistaken for fault code F with 6 minutes remaining, where in fact it was an F 06 fault. Hopefully this may help you as maybe you have the same situation occurring.
