My ps4 controller won't turn on

I was following the disassembly guide and forgot to take of the batterie and i was having issues with taking of the second motherboard strip. Now the controller won't turn on and i feel like the left side of the mother board is heating up. I just want my controller fixed and I need to know what i did wrong and what i should do to fix it. please help!!
