The prongs in the device at the charger port bent

so device will not turn on when plugged in. Can those be fixed or replaced

trailcreekrealty yes it can be replaced. the issues here are that the port is soldered to the circuit board. So you will have to disassemble your Nook. Use these guides. Then unsolder the old connector and resolder a new one. Not a terrible bad job if you know how to solder. If you don't this is not the board to practice on:-). The most difficult part is to obtain a replacement port. They are hard to find.
