The keyboard isnt working

hey everyone! i have to fisrt say sorry for my english,

the problem of my macbook is something that i dont understand, but i can tell details.

3 days ago, i was working really good, then one day i run with water to put some to a plant that was dying in my room, and sadly like 5 droplets fall into the keyboard, i didnt do anything , i just clean it because they where just 5 drops of water (truly). an hour later, y realice that when i press on the "caps lock"and the green light stays, no key would run and when i minimize some windows, they just minimize but sooooo slow. THEN! when i press of the caps lock, every key work perfectly and every window minimize normaly. i realice that just some keys are malfunctioning (with caps lock off), when i press s it would appear s &g ; when i press w it will appear w&t, when i press 2 it will appear 2&5, (this keys are separated by two keys).

I went to technical and support centers , and they say its circuited and that probably cost me $ 400 to fix. I'm working on my thesis design , so I 'm desperate . My macbook is my job tool. :( hope i find answer here. :) thank you!

There could be board damage even if its just small droplets. All it takes is the device being turned on at all before the water has time to evaporate and it can short out components. A keyboard replacement should fix the problems with the keyboard but there is still a chance you may have to outsource the device for a board-repair if the problem persists.

so i would have to replace all the unibody logic board, even if the keys work normally (withouth presing caps lock) :(! i dont understang why when i press caps lock everything goes wrong ( keys and window minimize)

I mean technically you could just use it without caps lock and hope for the best. But if you want to ensure a 100% functional keyboard you'll likely have to replace the keyboard at least :/
