How to replace the battery

I am curious how to change out the battery in an iPod Touch 6th generation. I was able to take it out but I'm not sure how to put a new one in.

Answer this question I have this problem too

It should be soldered to the logic board, probably covered by some tape. You will need to desolder the existing battery, then solder the new one in. Make sure to replace the tape to prevent any shorts.

Thank you, do you know where I could buy a new battery? I've been trying to look one up for a while and all I'm getting is 5th generation ones. Would that work?
