phone wont turn on

It sounds like the temperature got too hot on the phone. Of course that is just a guess since I don't have the phone in front of me. Let it sit for a few hours to cool down, then hold power and home at the same time until it boots back up. If it does boot back up, watch it closely to see if you can figure out what caused it to overheat. Hopefully it was just a fluke but it could be a warning sign of something being seriously wrong with the phone.

If it doesn't boot up, I would take it to a reputable repair shop. It should be easy for them to figure out. Unless you still have a warranty through Apple, in that case take it to the closest Apple store for a swap out.
