Screen adhesive not sticking properly.

Hello,

I ran a repair on my iPad air 2. I replaced the digitizer and front glass pane. Is there any special way of ensuring that the adhesive sticks to the iPad? I have had !&&* making sure that the glass sticks properly.

I use a heat gun on low setting, to gently heat the adhesive on both iPads and screen replacement on MacBooks. Heat Gun

GooGone works for me.

Go to your local Store and grab some Nail Polish Remover,Q-tips and a napkin.Remove the cap from the NPR and fill it halfway. Now dip the Q-tip in the NPR and then dab it lightly on the napkin once and rub it on the adhesive along THE OUTER EDGES of the iPad while being careful not to allow any of NPR to touch or drip on ANY other components including the LCD.Wait 3 minutes before scraping the adhesive off and now you should find it WAY EASIER AND FASTER to remove the old adhesive.

*Note*

I find it best to use one of the blue or green plastic pry tools that usually come with most screen repair kits as it will do significantly less damage then a metal object if you slip off of the target area.
