iPad 3 in Endless Startup Loop After Screen Replacement

Hey Everybody!

I apologize ahead of time if I call something wrong, this is my first repair I've done on an Apple product.

Alright, so I cracked the screen to my iPad 3. Everything worked fine after the drop and before I took it apart. I was following along with some good instructions from youtube, so I'm not quite sure what went wrong and where. Took off the digitizer, removed the lcd, removed the charging flex cable, and wifi and speaker cable because I broke the Wifi piece when removing the digitizer. Ordered a new wifi cable, then put everything back together just as I took it apart.

Before sealing the digitizer shut, I turned on the iPad and thought it was weird that it said 2% battery because I could've swore I had it full charged before repair. I plugged it into the charger, and it showed a charging sign on it but never actually charged. After messing around with it a few more times it eventually died, like it was only keeping that 2% going. Now it will only power back up when its plugged into the charger, it will show the logo, then turn right back off like it died immedietly.

Anyone have any suggestions for me??

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Sounds like you may have damaged the logic board or battery during the repair. I would inspect the logic board for anything that looks damaged or is missing, and also inspect the battery for any damage.
