Housing swap problems. To try restore or not?

I put a 6 into a new housing and lost all wifi. While playing around inside I must have damaged something and lost all power. Left it plugged into the laptop and after about an hour it turned on and was recognized by itunes. Screen is blank and it keeps vibrating and making that noise they make when you first plug into laptop for itunes every 2-3 seconds. What does everyone suggest? Im tempted to try and restore but scared of the error 53

Thanks mate. I have tried multiple screens, pulled the logic board out and tested with only battery, dock and screen connected. Nothing has worked. Still connects to itunes

Sounds like you have a few issues, none of them cure able by restoring. It appears that you've damaged your display assembly. That's why you can't see anything. As for wifi, could be a few things, but I am gonna guess hardware. It's possible that you just need to reconnect the antennae cable
