How do I restore/enter DFU without power button and stuck at logo?

The power button does not work at all. (It wiggles around a bit, it's not jammed under the aluminum or anything.)

Whenever I charge it, it reaches the Apple logo and freezes. It won't do anything until the battery dies.

I tried to access the internals but all I got for my troubles was a few cracks underneath the screen.

iTunes will not recognize it, and consequentially neither will recboot.

I'm out of options with this thing. It's all I've got, with no money to afford replacing it. Any help would be appreciated. Will supply more information upon request.
