Why is my mobile not charging and detects the sim?

hi,

Recently my mobile met with a water damage..After its not charging..i even replaced with a new battery.. Even then its not charging... Also the sim is not detected..will it be any other issues? how much it costs to mend it and where can I do it so?

Options

The water causes the phone to short-circuiting and SIM card reader broken. You should take your phone to be repaired.
