Crackle sound heard when on call

When on a call, I keep getting this annoying sound kind of like static sounding something like "crackle" .

The worst part is this sound comes only when on a call and sadly its not the phone speaker problem since I get it on my earphones too.

Can anybody help me in getting rid of this irritating sound while on a call??
