when I turn on my system no video or audio

I have a pikachu Nintendo 64 that I bough as a gift for an in law. When I first tried a game on the system it was working fine then when I switched out the game it stopped working. Even when I tried to put in the same game all the system does is that it's cheeks keep blinking. I've tried resetting it and cleaning the cartridges with alchol and nothing seems to be working.

Update: So I used the light from my phone to check to see if it was something wrong with the connectors and one of the gold thing is missing and I don't know if that's normal or if that's a fatal issue
