Why Is nvidia 670m overheating 97 degrees Asus G75VW

After upgrading to win 10 and playing some games for a month without any problem. One day the fans kicked on loudly and noticed my asus G75vw hot in between the space between the number pad and enter key , above the arrow keys. I downloaded a hardware monitor and verified my GPU core starts at 52C when I on my machine then in 45 min or sooner when I watch videos or play ESO the temp goes max 97C . I talked to asus they showed me where the original drivers where ,, but still I get high Temps . I called nvidia and they said the gpu is overheating and it's time to change and told me to call asus back. Anyone having this issue after upgrading to win 10. Asus said they did not have an updated driver for win 10.

They had me download the orginal drivers wich you can get here https://www.asus.com/us/support/Download...

down load from VGA tab and its the Version V9.18.13.1100.02

they told me there is no win 10 driver for g75vw, they dont support older models :( I guess , but this should work. good luck !

Hi!

I got the same problem as you! I guess all the g75vw have the gtx 670m?

I didnt notice my overheating till last week, but i have noticed less fps in games since i updated to windows 10. Did Asus change anything on your computer? If so, did u get to pay anything?
