So I just replaced the screen digitizer glass on the iPad and it seems to be working but not completely. 10 cm from the bottom of the screen doesn't seem to be responding to the touch. I got it to work some what but it is not fully functional. What could be the cause of that?

try cleaning the contacts, if this doesn't help you have a bad screen. be sure you don't bent the flex cable to much...

is it an OEM digitizer or a aftermarket . If it aftermarket the digitizer is probably bad . There is a slight possibility the cable is not connected properly you may also want to check the connector for broken or bent pins
