changing from CDMA (verizon)ip4 to a GSM

IS IT possible by just changing the back cover remove CDMA unit that connect to logic broad and replace with the GSM unit with sim card holder. of course this is because I have both type iphone4 with the logic broad in the GSM style is water damage is not working and also the carrier that used will not used CDMA style. But the iphone4 Verison is in good working order but it is just that a CDMA.

frank ma, no it is not. Different technology, different circuitry. You either have a CDMA or a GSM phone, but you cannot convert those.

To switch to GSM, you need:

A new MLB, since there is no "CDMA" unit, everything has been consolidated into a single board,

A new case, since the MLB size, connectors and screw holes are different.

A new display, since the cases are different,

And many other minor parts, since the cases are different.

So you need to buy a new phone because almost every single component is different and not interchangeable in any way.
