The Screen Stays Black

Hello Guys,

I modded my old GameBoy with a cool Background LED pannel. But since then, the screen steays black. I also put a resistor in but nothing has changed. i was very cargfully so i thinks nothing is damaged. have you a idea what is could be? thx for your support
