Replaced my screen+digitiser for my iPhone 4 now it works occasionally

Cracked the glass on my iPhone and decided to try my hand at replacing the glass myself. The installation went reasonably smoothly but when I turned my phone on the digitizer only barely works. There are no 100% dead areas, they just only press every now and again. To show how it detects stuff I scribbled all over snapchat and below is what I came out with. Its as if it favors particular lines on the screen.

I have already tried reseating the digitizer connection with no improvement.

Could be a bad replacement screen. Do you still have your old broken screen? If the touch worked on your old screen plug it in and see if works ok. If it does then you know your new screen is bad, if it does the same thing then you know the connector or something around the digitizer connector got damaged on the logic board.
