Why is my tablet so hot?
I've been using my tablet a lot and it's been noticeably hot lately. Why?

Have you been drinking? Is the tablet using a new shade of lipstick?
Just Kidding, but seriously overheating can be caused by several things, bad battery bad charging regulating IC and so forth. Avoid using crappy after market or shorted charging cables, replace battery if the heat because a problem and see if that helps. If not the battery it your other options aren't looking good.

Not too sure about the lipstick, but it is true that the battery is the main reason for heat from the tablet. Try to use it in a ventilated place and avoid putting it on top of a thick blanket for example. You should also try not to push the battery to 10% every time before charging. This can make your battery work over time too often.
