How to delete documents.

How do I delete documents on my phone? I have 2.96 GB of them.

Update (09/30/2015)

My phone says I have 622.4 MB free. I cannot update it because it says I need 610MB, so why won't it update?

I still have 2.91 GB in data and documents. I cleaned the cache in Safari, and I have deleted all my emails, and emptied the trash on the phone which leads to the question...do I need to do the same on my computer? Does it all get transferred from my computer to my phone? I guess you can tell I don't know anything about techie stuff.

Options

You need to clear out the history and cache from Facebook, Safari and so on. If you go into Settings and go thru all your apps and delete cache and history on all of them it should clear out some of that.

Then there is your messages, your texts and so on. Clean that out as well.
