Is it charged? Does it show anything on the screen (red "X" when plugged into a a USB port?)
Start with the "5 R's"

If that doesn't fix it, you can either start taking it apart and checking cable connections/replacing parts or you can try the (not officially recommended, but works for many) route of dropping it or slamming it hard against something.
