I dropped my ipod and well the graphics are messed up. As in my screen is partially white/grey , I can barely see my background.
What could cause that? An Could I fix it by swapping out the logic board?? Or do I need to do something else?

I really don't think you need to go that far. You could probably just get a replacement screen assembly, and fix it.
