Touch ID not working after replacing metal backplate

I just replaced my iphone 6 metal back plate and now my touch id doesn't work. There is no damage on the touch id flex cable but while I was changing my cracked screen I accidentally ripped the flex cable connected to the bottom of the metal black plate. I though replacing it would work but so far nothing. Any suggestions?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

as long as you didnt ripped off the actual button cable it should work.

Just do the hard reset on the phone(hold power and home button simultaneously for about 10seconds, until the phone turns off and apple logo appears again)

If that doesnot work you probably didnt click the connection too well, try opening the phone and make sure the connection clicks.

I sincerely hope you havent ripped off the home button.

Let me know how it goes.

Is the home button flex properly plugged into the new logic board flex? The long one.... Also, make sure the long flex is properly connected to your logic board.
