160GB Logic Board in 6th Generation iPod Classic
If I install the 160GB Logic Board in my 120GB iPod Classic (6th Gen), does that essentially turn it into a 7th Generation iPod Classic?

lorder, no it does not. Remember that the 6th gen comes with a 160GB too. As for the differences, the 7th gen model HDD is thinner since it uses a single-platter hard disk rather than a double. You still have a 6th gen.
