Can I get charge port for nook color brnv 200

can I get the power/charge port for my nook color..BRNV 200 ? Hate to throw away.

larry, I believe that is a proprietary port and thus hard to get. Before throwing the Nook out, I'd get a standard Micro USB port and solder it on the board. That will allow you to use a standard cable and will keep your Nook alive.

Would the layout be the same? What orientation have you used before? I've never seen a nook charging port before

the charging cable measures out the same way so I am certain that the connections are the same, just a proprietary port which is not uncommon for any B&N reader. A standard micro USB cable will sync and charge the Nook, just slower. The original charge cable also seems to insert deeper into the connector. I am, up for the challenge and hope to get my broken Nook by the end of this week. Lets see what I can find out. Larry, hold on to your Nook for a few more days :-)
