antenna connector has been squashed-how to fix it?

am trying to repair iphone and previous owner has squashed the antenna connector when trying to reseat it. have seen previous post about glue gun but am wondering what condition antenna connector needs to be in. you can see the central pin but the outer ring is flattened on one side. is it possible to get a good enough connection, is there something i can put in to improve connection or is this a dead end needing lots of technical skill? any suggestions greatly appreciated.

hot glue only makes sense when the connector fit's but won't "snap in"

the best way to handle that would be replacing the connector - but i think that is not an option for you - so try to get those two parts connected and then you could try it with a small amount of hot glue
