I have had mi redmi 1s with miui 5 . I tried to flash upgrade version of miui 7 from official mi forum and that upgrade failed and phone went to recovery mode. After trying some fastboot recovery tool found from another forum which forced to shut down of phone and now it is not starting even in fastboot log. What to do? Help.

I believe its not compatible. Either way 7 is not stable. Is you visit the service centre they recommend 6 max. If your phone is not working now take it to service centre if on warranty. Else downgrade to 5.
