How to reset my Laptop using recovery Partition

Hi All,

I'm using Acer Aspire 5745 and when i was creating new drives (D & E), it seems the recovery partition got corrupted. So i'm unable to perform the factory reset using the Acer eRecovery management.

I wanted to do the same using BIOS or what ever option is available. So please tell me some suggestions to reset my laptop. (Note - Alt +10 is not working for my model).

Thanks,

Dhaya

Dhayanand, you most likely delete the recovery partition. You will now have to rely on finding a recovery disk or by contacting Acer directly. Otherwise you have to purchase the OS and the drivers for your computer. I'd check with Acer and see how they can help you

As you said, i believed that recovery partition is deleted or corrupted.

It would be great if you give some further suggestion. Thanks again.

If you're running Windows 7, you can get a copy of the OS from MS and use the product sticker on the bottom of your laptop to activate.

Windows 8.1 is even easier:
