Half of LCD Screen is Darker than other Side.

Try a new LCD first and get that out of the way. These LCDs are fairly cheap and very popular anyways..

If you can see the picture on the dark side then it probable is not a problem with the screen. it sounds more like a back light issue to me. That is where I would look for the problem.
